When I was at my local Blockbuster store a certain game caught my eye. I just so happened to be made by the creator Sonic
the Hedgehog, Yuji Naka. The game seemed a little intresting so just like that I rented it. I should have just walked away.
Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is the story about a boy named Billy who wears a special chicken suit to defend some
islands from the crows. Apparently the crows just want to use the Giant Egg to grant a wish for them. It's up to Billy to
save the day.
The graphics and the characters look great, but.....could be too cute for some. The controls are nice to use. The monsters
in this game are very creative. However there are some problems with this game. There are a few bugs in the game and
the games failure to deliver the more than your average platformer. The multiplayer is nice, but it is not that great.
Overall, I was a little disappointed in this game. The ideas in this were new and interesting, but the bugs and the mediocre
gameplay will leave you longing more. This game gets 3.5* out of 5*
