Worth $20?

I was browsing the internet one day when I heard that a game called Beyond Good & Evil was pushed to $20. This game had a lot praise from fans and critics, but lacked in sales. So I gave this is game a shot ( $20+great reviews=purchase). And well.........

In Beyond Good & Evil, you play a female photographer named Jade, who lives in an orphange watching children with her adoptive father, Pey'j, who is half-human, half-pig. One day, their oprhange comes under attack from an alien race, the Dom'z, and Jade defends the orphanage on her own. The defenders of the planet, the Alpha Section, take credit for Jade's actions and leave. But a phone call from a client transforms into a investigation into a giant conspiracy behind the Dom'z attacks.

First off, the story in this game is incredible. From the dialogue to the plot twists, the story The graphics in this game are stunning. From the water effects to the color selection is great. Controlling your character is a breeze with great controls. There some great camera angles in this game for when you are being stealthy. Speaking of stealth, this is one of the biggest elements of this game. You have to sneak past guards to get to the next room in some areas of this game. Of course, some areas of the game allow you to fight the guards. The menus in this game are extremely intelligent. In battle, you can receive help from your partner in battle. There's also an interactive world that you can explore. The different locations range from the hovercraft shop to the local bar. The sound in this game is top-notch with great sound effects and background music.

The game is too short, lasting 10-12 hrs. You can't explore every part of the world that you want. On top that, there might not be a sequel.

Beyond Good  & Evil is a great game. With great graphics, sound, story, and controls, this game has it all. The game, however, is short, but you won't notice. This game gets 5* out of 5*
