I have you been viewing this site for the past few months, you have noticed that I have been reviewing the past two issues
of Runaways. The story has been going very well with great dialogue and plot that is complemented with great art. So when
I read this issue, was it going to be like the past few issues?
To recap, Alex and the rest of the Runaways have decided to attack their parents head on. Meanwhile, four members of
the Pride have decided to betray the group, leaving behind them and their children. With these events set into motion, the
issue begins.
As always, Brian K. Vaughan manages to portray the characters in a believable way. He manages to make the characters'
concerns and reactions flow in the book. Adrian Alphona, as always, tells this story, in a clear way that goes with their
style. The only downside to this comic is there is one scene with Nico and Alex that doesn't seem to make sense.
Once again, Brian K. Vaughan is on a roll here. With the story, at-least half way through, Vaughan is preparing the reader
for an amazing ride in the next issue. If only he could have made that one scene believable, then this would have been on
the same level of quality, that I expect out of Runaways. This comic receives 4.5* out of 5*
