Over the past few months, Marvel Knights Spiderman has been a blast to read. With a great plot and some awesome art to
boot, this comic can't do any wrong. So when I picked this up at my local comic shop, I had some high expectations for this
comic. Was it any good?
During a high school reunion, Venom attacks Peter Parker. As they take the fight outside, what will happen? Also,
more developments in who has orchestrated the recent attacks on Spiderman.
Mark Millar has written some of my favorite comics, and this one is no exception. With a great plot that features twists
and turns, Millar has crafted a great story. Of course, however, dialogue can make or break a comic and Millar doesn't disappoint.
He manages to portray the motivations and reactions of his characters well. And as always, there is some great art, complements
of Frank Cho.
On the downside, there is one moment in the comic that really didn't feel right. Also, the comic costs $2.99 and it takes
a month to release the next issue. The last two were just minor things that can be overlooked, but they are still problems
nonetheless.
So is this comic great? Of course! It features a great story with art to match. This is a comic that you should be reading-buy
now! This comic receives 4.5* out of 5*
